Weaving About Weaving
Fun, eh?
Edit re Marcy's comment: it's always fun to hear what other people *see* in the graphics. Around the edge are shuttles, Marcy, shuttles. The thread path goes from spindle to shuttle to web (a little hard to see?). Here is the real *failure*: I had to take the photo in certain light, at an angle, to even see the spindles: the blue and red are too close in value to really see well. Ah well, next time. There's always a next time!

Very fun, and very cool! Love the spindles - makes me think of the 3 of Spinsters. :-) But then, where's the nekkid ladies? Very very neat!
Very cool. Love the spindles. The pictures a little small to make them out, but are the figures around the edges wormses in their cocoons? I figure either that or cold lips.
So you're saying they're not blue lips?
This is great, Sara. Is it a pile tapestry? How big is it?
Oh. Shuttles make much more sense than blue cowrie shells.
I'm disappointed. I thought it had something to do with Spiderman.
Sara, thanks for responding to my comment on my blog. I look forward to seeing the back when you get it done, too!
I was gonna go with coffee beans. And I don't even drink coffee. I realize that makes no sense with the blue, but.....
