Plying on the Playa

plying on la playa
Rilly! :D! (Wensleydale, Golding spindle, playa!). People are so right when they tell you to match the spindle with the fiber you are spinning:
spindle and yarn
Wait....you mean they weren't referring to the colors???? :D!

I finished knitting a hat while traveling:
alpaca hat

Slouchy, alpaca, with a tassel! I dyed three reds and used a black with them:
alpaca yarns
I love how the colors gradually get lighter toward the top, but if I did not tell you, would you have noticed?

hat on the beach3

A survey, do you think she is spinning?
angel spinning

Last:
marin b-day

Do you think she cares about any of this? :D!

Love to match the fiber to the spindle-pleasing right away! The hat is gorgeous and no, you didn't need to tell us about the color gradation-it shows wonderfully! Baby is so sweet.......

Hi Sara...I admire that you could finish the hat while traveling. I took knitting that barely got attention except for on the plane.

Yes..we finished in Glasgow. Started in Edinburgh, Stirling, Inverness, Orkney then to Glasgow through Inverness.

The distillery is Glenmorangie, we also toured Highland Park. Pictures were allowed in discreet places on both tours. But I had no battery on the second one.

I'm signed up for your class at Beth's next month. We'll have to compare notes.
